You ask really good questions - are you a teacher? I have been thinking about the fog of confusion all day. I think it is an excuse, and a bad one. It is a luxury to pretend to be confused about something that is as plain as the nose on my face. To be considering how hard it is to keep my attention on hard topics while the news is full of details about the innocent people killed by a white supremacist, makes me realize what a bullshit excuse it is.
