The men’s movement of the 80s was big when I was a teen. My dad had the books Fire in the Belly and Iron John. Later, I remember the satire Fire in the John. The whole might seem cringeworthy to you but also it speaks to a need for men to be able to rescue our identity as men from all the ways it has been deconstructed.
