I have a habit of starting an essay on Medium and not finishing it. Today I looked at my ever-expanding Drafts folder and decided to work on one of the essays there. But which one?

Here are twenty options:

I live in rural Wisconsin and it infuriates me that the Republicans can just assume the loyalty of rural conservative voters, while their policies have often done more harm than good to rural communities.
