There is so much irony.

Rural folks complain about taxes, and we assume that we are paying taxes so Black and brown people can be freeloaders, but in reality rural areas are net receivers of goods and services from taxes. We live further apart and our roads cost more per capita. Same for our small schools. Rural white folks especially use government assistance at higher rates that city people and certainly more than undocumented immigrants (who usually pay into but don't use).
