The book is all over the place. I like her analysis, but then the question is what do we do with the knowledge that caste is at work? Does it change anything? Is she just splitting hairs in a non-productive way?

I want her to have some sort of secret decoder that makes the whole system crumble, and the best she offers is to see each other as human.
