Thanks for this piece- it is a perfect counterpoint to one I just wrote about how, as a Progressive, I’m doubling down and joining my local Democratic Party. I have to believe that the Biden team did their best with Manchin. My guess is that they are scared he will switch parties. This is why Ron Johnson has to go. Maybe I can do both - get mad at the Dems while I also work for them to win in 2022.
