Thanks for this piece. I feel like I'm on a similar journey. I thought I was a good writer, but I had never published anything. Joining Medium, I discovered (by comparing myself to other writers) that I might be a good writer but I'm not a great writer. Yet. My only chance of becoming a great writer is to dive in a publish (on Medium and Vocal at this point, but maybe Amazon?) and accept feedback and keep writing.
