Thanks for reading and replying. I don't think I could ever really "get it."

When I talk about "undeserved wealth" I should also talk about "undeserved negative outcomes." I remember before I had a financial cushion when I was driving down the Interstate and my truck just gave up. I left it at the side of the road and walked the next ramp and called a tow truck. It was transmission and it would be over a thousand dollars to fix (25 years ago). I didn't know what I would do. Another time that same truck developed a fuel leak when i was in Ohio and I had to drive home to Wisconsin. I drove anyway wasting fuel and worried any time I stopped that someone would drop a cigarette. I don't think I deserved any of that stress but neither would have been an issue I had money.
