Ok. I think we are almost on the same page. You think that the number of claps should stop at five, and you give people a standard of five. It is sort of like rating an UBER driver five stars unless something egregious happened.

Yes. 50 is too many. It think it is a vestige of when people were paid for claps? But since they offer that we can clap up to 50, I just go with that, even if it is silly and means I have to hold my finger down forever.
