More thoughts: Christianity (and monotheism in general) is a technology that has been weaponized. First in Europe it removed the old gods who were land-based. Then it was part of colonization and domination. The gods and spirits who were replaced lived in the natural elements of the land.

When we look at land-based spirituality we see that it is all about kin-based relationships with the human and non-human relatives. Compare this to the origin story of Adam being given dominion over nature and being made in god’s image. This is a recipe for exploitation and destruction.
