I appreciate your words and solidarity. I feel like voting Democrat is a short term strategy but in the long term we need to figure out how to get away from the two party system. So many young people I know are upset with Biden and Harris over their support for Netanyahu and the destruction of Gaza. I don't know how to tell them to vote for Harris. They must know that Trump would be worse.

We are doing all we can to stand up to the bully here in WIsconsin. The lies are A LOT but mostly just hot air. In school, most bullies are fragile, and when they are held accountable, they break down and accuse others of hurting them. There is a whole victim/bully thing. We see that and for kids we can see how they were hurt and have some compassion. I have a hard time mustering compassion right now, but I think after we win we will need to make it a country where everyone feels seen and heard - so maybe after Senator Baldwin and President Harris are firmly in place. Until then we stand up to the bully. I recently donated $$$ to my local democrats who are getting signs out there and knocking on doors, and I am greeting people at the fundraiser this Sunday.
