Here are some books that I have been wanting to read, or finish reading.
Louise Erdrich, The Night Watchman (My partner's favorite author and I have enjoyed her work too)
Isabel Wilkerson, Caste (A friend recommended this one and it is sitting on my shelf waiting for me to get off of Medium and read more books)
Kent Nerburn, The Girl Who Sang to the Buffalo (I read Neither Dog Nor Wolf years ago. Very good. This one comes highly recommended)
adrienne marie brown, Grievers (I love her podcast and now I have four of her books. I would read any of them for our club, but I picked Grievers because I am curious about her fiction)
Ibram Kendi, How to Raise an Antiracist (I'm reading this for work as a summer book, but it could do double duty)
Resmaa Menakem, The Quaking of America or My Grandmother's Hands (which I started but haven't finished yet)
I am also drawn to the idea of reading the first book of NK Jemison's Broken Earth series because they are making it into a tv series. I read the series a couple years ago, but would not mind re-reading.
Those are a few ideas...
