Spring is here!

It has been a busy month on the farm. We hosted a group of Junior High students for 19 days and they just left today. During their time, the land transformed from a quiet brown end-of-winter vibe to the annual burst of life that I have come to expect and welcome.

The trees are flowering and leaves are emerging.

Box elder, white oak, aspen

The sheep and llamas have been sheared.

Poppers (brown) and Rheaa (piebald)

A mama hen hatched some eggs.

Just born.

We loaded the plants for the plant sale.

Spring wildflowers have emerged in the forests.
