Frosty air

Over the new year we got some (global climate change?) warm weather that meant that instead of two feet of snow we got two inches of rain. The rain washed away all the snow we had on the ground and left us with a bleak brown and grey landscape.

Following the rain, a fog descended on the land for several days. It was an eerie time. On a couple of the mornings, the frost froze on all the grasses and twigs. Technically this is called “rime.” It was a magical time.

To live in a world of peace and justice we must imagine it first. For this, we need artists and writers. I write to reach for the edges of what is possible.
