Chapter 28 — The Airdrop

Dear Dad and Benji,

This is great news! Mel and I are hugging and high-fiving and dancing around the basement.

We are also happy to report that today the city defenses were blanketed by an airdrop of tens of thousands of copies of the VeRU that Mel and Jorge put together all about the corruption and cruelty of General Stewart. There are clear, full color photos. The Circle printed them on glossy paper that is waterproof. I am afraid there is a lot of litter out there!

We are hearing less and less gunfire. It is hard to tell anything, since there is no news, and the text messages have stopped. No news might mean the General is losing, because if he were winning, he would be texting all about it. It might mean something else.
